Vining’s Gift to the Community Installed

On a beautiful April Day, members of the Vining family helped by Martin Hatley started work on building and installing the table and benches. They had promised this to the community following the naming of Vining’s Copse.

The table was first constructed upside down then rotated and set in position. It will be concreted in to make it secure and level.

On the 6th May at 1100 there will be a ceremony at the Copse to officially hand the table and seats to the community. Members of the family are planning to come from all around the world for this special event.

The NMDCA is also planning to put on music, food and other entertainment to mark the occasion. We hope as many residents as possible will come along to join in the fun.
