Our intrepid NMD seaman Jonathan Moon has starting the 170 mile sail out to the Fastnet rock as he leaves the English coast behind him. 16:00 Tuesday 10th August

Local Students Aid Sri Lanka

Local Miller’s Dale Resident Amélie Puddicombe is fund raising for a charitable expedition to Sri Lanka. She has a Facebook Page (Amélie’s Expedition) and is holding an Easter Fair in the North Miller’s Dale Community Hall on Good Friday 30th March. Please go along and support her if you can. She wrote:

In the summer of 2019 I will be joining a team in partnership with World Challenge in Sri Lanka. While there we will work on various community projects such as renovating a local school. I will be doing lots of jobs and activities to help me fundraise the £3200 needed for the trip. My Facebook page  will keep you updated on my progress and any upcoming events.
