What a difference a couple of days make!

walk.jpgAfter the bitterly cold weather and the snow we were wondering how popular our first outing of the North Millers Dale Walking Group would be, but thankfully the temperature rose and the snow disappeared. Twelve hardy residents turned up to take part in a three mile local walk taking in some of Valley Park’s lesser known footpaths. For the time being it was decided to keep off the muddier routes in favour of tarmac but I think many people found themselves in some unfamiliar places. It was agreed to try and make the walks a monthly event and the walkers seemed keen to repeat the experience.
